Celem szkolenia jest podniesienie kompetencji księgarzy z księgarń stacjonarnych w obszarze organizacji spotkań dla najmłodszych czytelników, pokazanie dzieciom, że książka to piękny przedmiot, opowiadający historię; oswajanie dzieci z książką, z nawykiem odwiedzania księgarni i kupowania w niej książek; promowanie budowy i rozwoju księgozbiorów domowych, w tym stałej, niewymuszonej obecności książki w pokojach dziecięcych.

Szkolenie prowadzone będzie w formie teoretycznej, z elementami praktycznych warsztatów. Zaletą planowanych warsztatów będzie praktyczne podejście do przedstawianych zagadnień, poparte długoletnim doświadczeniem zawodowym Małgorzaty Narożnej  oraz interaktywny charakter zajęć, pozwalający uczestnikom na weryfikację i testowanie swojej wiedzy w sytuacjach symulujących rzeczywistość. Ponadto szkolenie ma stać się platformą wymiany doświadczeń między jego uczestnikami.

Program szkolenia obejmie następujące elementy: cel organizacji wydarzeń, spotkania dla grup zorganizowanych przedszkolnych i szkolnych, promocja wydarzeń, omówienie praktycznych zagadnień pracy z dziećmi, przykłady zajęć (spotkanie w szkole, promocja książki, spotkanie z autorem itp.), przykłady pracy z różnymi rodzajami publikacji, jak sobie radzić w sytuacjach kryzysowych.

Każdy uczestnik otrzyma materiały szkoleniowe, w tym autorski scenariusz na przeprowadzenie zajęć i certyfikat uczestnictwa.

Szkolenie poprowadzi Małgorzata Narożna – księgarka dyplomowana, współzałożycielka autorskiej kluboksięgarni FiKa w Szczecinie, absolwentka Polskiej Akademii Księgarstwa, członkini Polskiej Sekcji IBBY, ukończyła także studia podyplomowe na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim na kierunku „Literatura dla dzieci i młodzieży wobec wyzwań nowoczesności”. Organizuje i prowadzi warsztaty dla rodziców i nauczycieli. Systematycznie czyta, spotyka się z pisarzami, animuje – tworząc przestrzeń dla wolnych myśli. Przez Polską Sekcję IBBY została uhonorowana nagrodą główną w kategorii „upowszechnianie czytelnictwa” za „integrowanie społeczności lokalnej wokół książki dziecięcej”. W ramach projektu „Książnica FIKa” wraz z Książnicą Pomorską promuje czytelnictwo w bibliotekach województwa zachodniopomorskiego.
